Finley

Martin Finley died at Mercy hospital at 8:45 o'clock last evening after an extended illness.

He was born at Waukegan, Mich., on February 22, 1857, and was united in marriage to Miss Elizabeth Smiley at Brooklyn, Ia., in 1880. They came to Davenport in 1904, and have made their home here since.

Surviving are the wife, two sons, Dennie and Lester, five grandchildren, two sisters, Miss Mary Finley and Mrs. Charles Wagner of Joliet, Ill, and three half brothers Jess, Roy and Leroy all of Brooklyn, Ia.. One son preceded him in death on August 17, 1924.

The funeral will be held from the Runge chapel Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock to St. Mary's church at two o'clock. Interment will be made in St. Marguerite's cemetery.

The Finley Funeral
The funeral of Martin Finley was held from the Runge chapel yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock to St. Mary's church at two o'clock. Father R.J. Renihan pronounced the burial absolution at St. Marguerite's cemetery.

Pallbearers were Charles Henderson, E. Oneal, John Denahy, T.M. O'Brien, J.S. Mallick and Mrs. Costigan.
