MOONEY.

At 2:20 a.m. Saturday occurred the death of Mr. Dennis Mooney the well-known stone mason, at his residence 933 West Seventh street. The cause of Death was dysentery of about a week's duration. Mr. Mooney was an old and respected resident of Davenport, having lived here for about forty years. He was born in Tipperary county, Ireland, in 1819, thus having passed the scriptural term of life. There survive to mourn his loss four daughters, Mrs. James Conley, Miss Elizabeth Mooney, Mrs. O'Donnell of Chicago, and Mrs. McBride of Coletta, Ill., all of whom were present at the deathbed of their lamented father. This is the third death in the family since 1891, Mrs. Mooney having died Oct. 5, 1891 and son James on Jan. 16, 1893.

The funeral will take place tomorrow (Monday) with services at St. Mary's church at 9 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
