GARVEY.

At 5:20 o'clock Monday morning occurred the death of an old and respected resident of Davenport, Mr. John Garvey, at his residence 1838 West Third street. Mr. Garvey was born in the County Clare, Ireland and had reached the age of 72 years. He has been a resident here for the last 44 years. His wife died eighteen years ago. There survive to mourn his loss four daughters, Mary and Anna Garvey, Mrs. Minick and Mrs. Phil O'Brien of Kansas City and two brothers Michael and Simon Garvey.

The funeral will take place Wednesday with services at St. Mary's at 9 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
