HARTLEY.

This morning at 3 o'clock occurred the death of Mr. William Hartley at his home 734 west High street, after a protracted illness. Mr. Hartley, who was a resident of this city for 41 years past, was a respected citizen and a wide circle of friends and acquaintances will deplore his death. His wife and three sons, Edward, Michael and William survive to mourn his loss. Mr. Hartley was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, and had reached the age of 64 years.

The funeral will take place tomorrow morning with services at St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
