OBITUARY.

JOERS.

Louis Joers, a well known Constable of Davenport, died last night at his residence 1036 West Third street. Mr. Joers had been a constable here for the last thirteen years, and since 1889 has been officers for Bliek Peters' court. He leaves a wife and daughter. For sometime he has been suffering from what was supposed to be cancer of the stomach, and for the last week he was unable to attend his duties. The surgeons held a post mortem this afternoon.
