OBITUARY.

JAMES M. CHRISTY.

James M. Christy died Friday night at 11:30 at the home of his son-in-law, Rev. J.S. McCord. He was 68 years of age, and has resided in Davenport since 1886, living most of the time at 1206 Perry street. He had a host of very warm friends, and was a thoroughly good man. There are left a widow, two sons, William P., of this city, and John R., of Tilden, Neb., and daughter, Mrs. McCord. The remains will be sent to New Windsor, Ill., for burial.
