Obituary

BRANIGAN.

Mrs. Gordon C. Branigan died at her home 414 East Pleasant street, at noon yesterday. She had been ill for a long time and with a stubborn case of inflammation of the bowels. Mrs. Branigan was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Winkless, of this city, and was born at Poughkeepsie, N.Y., June 22, 1852. She received her education in the Davenport public schools and was married here about 20 years ago. She leaves besides her husband two children, Gertrude, aged 18, and Clifford, aged 16. The date of the funeral has not been announced.
