PURCELL.

Michael Purcell died at his home, 636 East Twelfth street Thursday night at 12 o'clock. He had been indisposed for some time and had been confined to his bed for about eight days, with spinal trouble. He was born in Ireland in 1840 and settled in Davenport in 1867.He has been a mercantile watchman since 1873. He leaves a wife and seven children. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Sacred Heart cathedral with burial in St. Marguerite's.
