Obituary

RISLEY.

Yesterday afternoon John Risley received a telegram from DeWitt, saying that his mother, Mrs. John S. Risley had died at that place at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Risley's husband was here today attending the funeral of Della, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Risley, and as soon as the telegram was received started for the bedside of his wife, but did not reach DeWitt until an hour after her death.

Mr. and Mrs. John S. Risley formerly of this city, but removed to DeWitt some twenty years ago where they have resided since. This is a double sorrow to Mr. J.P. Risley and his family, and that have the sympathy of their many friends in Davenport.
