Obituary

LOWER.

The many friends in Davenport of E.H. Lower will be sorry to learn of the death of his wife Mrs. Clara Lower. Mr. Lower was a resident of this city until a short time ago when he removed to Muscatine. The Muscatine News-Tribune comments on this event as follows:

"The friends of Clara Reynolds, wife of E.H. Lower, were profoundly shocked and pained to learn of the unexpected and sudden demise of that estimable lady, which occurred at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon at her home, No. 713 east Fifth street. The deceased was in her twenty second year, and the bereaved husband has the sincere sympathy of friend sin his great ??? One child survives, a son of three weeks old. The remains will be taken to Allerton, Iowa. Mrs. Lower's former home, for interment.
