Obituary

MINER.

Yesterday (Friday) afternoon occurred the death of Mrs. Mary A. Miner, widow of the late Dr. A.W. Miner. Mrs. Miner came to Davenport in 1865, from Canandaigua, N.Y., where she was born. Her husband at one time a well known and popular dentist, died in 1184. Mrs. Miner has many friends in Davenport and Scott county, who will regret exceedingly to hear of her death. She leaves no children, her only relative here being a brother, L.B. Miner. She has another brother in Creston, Ia., and one in St. Louis.

The time of the funeral will be announced later.
