Obituary

GANSON

Mrs. Etta Ganson of 2140 Jersey Ridge Road, passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. Alice Tarket, 2403 Eastern Ave, at 11:15 o'clock this morning after a long illness. She had been making her home with her sister for the last four weeks.

She was born May 5, 1872 in Pennsylvania, later moving to Galena, Ill., where she received her education. Thirty years ago she moved to Davenport with her sister, Mrs. Tarket and has made her home in this city since that time. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Winters. In July 1915 she was married to Samuel Ganson, who preceded her in death four years ago.

She was the member of a Christian church. Surviving are on son, Ray Winters, and one daughter, Mrs. George Windburger both of Rock Island, two sisters, Mrs. Clara John of Arcadia Nebraska and Mrs. Alice Tarket of Davenport, and four grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held from the Hill and Fredericks chapel.
