He was a kind and loving father to his family, led a good Christian life and was kind to everyone who knew him. Funeral services were held from the home of his brother, Frank, Tuesday, June 9, 1925, at ten o’clock, with Rev. W. J. Fowler officiating. From there the body was shipped to Davenport, where he was laid to rest in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
