Rose Margaret Russett, 1022 West First and One-half street, died Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Luke's Hospital after a lingering illness.

She was born Jan. 29, 1869 at Hanover, Germany, and came to America at the age of nine months with her parents. The family went directly to Minnesota where Rose Margaret lived until after her marriage.

On March 27, 1886, she was married to George Russett at Brainerd, Minn., coming to Davenport soon afterwards. She was a member of the Baptist Lutheran church and the Modern Brotherhood of America.

Surviving are: her husband, two sons, Verne and Arthur; and three daughters, Mrs. Frank Griffin, Mrs. Dale Sherman and Miss Helen Russett, all of Davenport; her father, Fritz Steffen of Minnesota; two sisters, three brothers and eight grandchildren.

The body was taken to Hill and Frederick's mortuary. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Note: Charles Laverne Russett is Verne Russett's full name. Mrs. Dale Sherman's full name was Estelle Mae Russett they were later divorced and Estelle married Richard Johnson. Dale's full name was Byron Dale Sherman.
