George F. Russett
George F. Russett, 83, of 611 East Dover court, Davenport, died at 1:20 o'clock yesterday after a long illness.

Mr. Russett was born Oct. 2, 1865, in Minnesota. he came to Davenport 54 years ago from Northern Iowa. His wife, the former Rosetta M. Steffens, preceded him in death.

He was employed for many years at the H.O. Seiffert Lumber company, Davenport, retiring in 1927.

Surviving are two daughters, Mesdames Estella Johnson and Helen Aldredge, both of Davenport, a son, Verne Russett, of Davenport; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A daughter, a sister and several brothers proceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Hill & Fredericks mortuary. Burial will be in Fairmount cemetery.
