The Davenport Republican, Friday, May 2, 1902:
The death of Mrs. Minnie Kirtley, wife of William Kirtley, took place yesterday morning at an early hour at the family home 520 West Fifteenth street. She was 27 years of age and was born in Eldridge, her father being Peter Hagedorn, a well known farmer. She is survived by her husand and by one child, Florence, and also by six sisters and one brother Emma and Julia, Mrs. Laura Mohr, Mrs Meta Klindt, Mrs. Agnes Elmergreen, Mrs Ella Freck(?) and Wi__ Hagedorn.
