Services for Arvilla S. McFate, 65, of 227 N. 4th St., LeClaire, will be 10 a.m. Friday at McGinnis Chapel, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.

Visitation is 4 to 9 p.m. today.

She died Tuesday at Osteopathic Hospital.

Arvilla Watkins was born in Scott County, Iowa. She married Howard C. McFate in 1932 in Rock Island. The couple had owned and operated the Green Tree Tavern, LeClaire. He died in 1970

Survivors include daughters, Frances Dyer, Davenport, and Nancy Porter, Folletts, Iowa; a son, Howard, LeClaire; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sisters, Bernice and Dorothy Wiebers, both of Camanche, Iowa, and Claribel Steiger and Betty Getty, both of Bettendorf, and brothers, Merle Watkins, Jonesville, Mich., and Thomas Watkins, LeClaire.
