Davenport - Geraldine Patterson-Fierce, 82, of Davenport, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at the home of her son, John Henry Patterson Jr., 2417 N. Zenith Ave. Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral sevices will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 31, at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the mortuary.
Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Geraldine (Gerry) was born on March 14, 1930, in Davenport, the daughter of Edward and Harriet (Bush) Wilsey. She married John Henry Patterson Sr. on December 25, 1958, in Rock Island. After his death, she married Woodford (Woody) Fierce on August 8, 1994, in Davenport.
Geraldine enjoyed spending time listening to music and spending time with her family.
Survivors include children, John (Regina) Patterson Jr., Frances (Joe) Kurtz, Terri Patterson (Rene Campos), Brenda (Tim) Alexander, and Edward Patterson; stepchildren, Gwen Bugs), Bonnie, Denny and Roland; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren; four step-great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Betty Olson, Maxine Rayburn, and Florence Tayloe. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, two husbands, two sisters, Dorothy Gladfelter, and Cynthia Rodenberg; two brothers, Willis Wilsey, and Clyde Wilsey; five children, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
