Betty Arlene (Wilsey) Olson

Davenport - Betty A. Olson, 80, of Davenport, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at the Davenport Good Samaritan Center, in hall 300 - room 3311, Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2012, in the Runge Mortuary Chaple, Davenport.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the mortuary.
Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
She was born November 28, 1931, in Davenport, a daughter of Edward and Harrit (Bush) Wilsey.
On March 10, 1956, she married Rolland E. Olson Sr. in Davenport. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1994.
Mrs. Olson was employed as a nurses aide prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Davenport Eagles Club and enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include her children and spouses, Harriett and Dale Edwards, Debbie Van Buskert, Robert Van Buskert Jr., Rosemary Jackson, Rolland E Olson Jr. and Tina Olson, Ivan P. Olson and Annette O' Donnell, and Dina and James Tayloe Sr.; numberous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters,
Florence Ruth (Wilsey) Moss - Tayloe and Maxine Marie (Wilsey) Rayburn.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Van Buskert, three sisters, Dorothy (Adams) Gladfelter, Geraldine Veronica (Wilsey) Patterson - Fierce, and Cynthia May (Wilsey) Rodenberg, and two brothers, Willis Edward Wilsey, and Clyde Edward Wilsey.
