MRS. J. H. WIESE DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE HELD WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

Resided in Eldridge for Twelve Years -- In Chicago and Colorado for Seven

Mrs. Frances Wiese, aged 42, wife of J. H. Wiese, well known in Davenport and Scott county, died at 11:45 o'clock last night at the home, 1423 Main street, after an illness of several years' duration.

Mrs. Wiese was born Feb. 6, 1870, in Davenport and received her education in the city schools. On Feb. 1, 1892, she was united in marriage with Mr. Wiese, and removed to Eldridge where they remained for 12 years. Seven years ago they removed to Chicago and a year ago to Colorado for the benefit of Mrs Wiese's health. Mr and Mrs Wiese returned to Davenport six months ago.

Surviving are the husband, J. H. Wiese; one son, Raymond J. Wiese; mother, Mrs Marie Kreiter; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Lau and Mrs F. G. Hower [Hauer], and four brothers, Henry, Charles, John and William Kreiter.

The funeral services will be held from the late home at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The body will be incinerated at the Davenport crematorium.
