Mrs. Christine England passed away at 1:30 this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Miss Anna C. England, 306 1-3 Harrison street. She was the daughter of Peter and Fredericka Pries, and was born at Segeberg, Germany, May 22, 1846. At the age of one year she came with her parents to Davenport, where she resided up to the time of her death.

On Jan. 13, 1865, she was married to John England, who preceded her in death 34 years ago.

Surviving are six daughters, Anna C. England at home, Mrs. Fred Abel of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Henry Kreiter of Davenport, Mrs. Hugo Toll of Glenburn, N. D., Mrs. Ernest Lautz of San Bernardino, Calif., and Mrs. J. W. Henderson of Wichita, Kan., and nine grandchildren. An only son passed away at the age of 11 years.
