EMMA HARDING PASSES AWAY AFTER STROKE

Was a Life-Long and Well Known Resident of Scott County.

Mrs. Emma Harding, well-known resident of Scott county, died at the family home near Mt. Joy Tuesday evening at 6.30 o'clock. Death followed a stroke of apoplexy, with which she was stricken Monday evening. Mrs. Harding's sudden death comes as a shock to the entire community in which she resided, and where she was held in high esteem by her many friends.

The deceased was born in Davenport on Aug. 18, 1872. On Nov. 30, 1911, she was united in marriage to Frank S. Harding at Davenport and they together settled on a farm near Mt. Joy, where they have resided until Mrs. Harding's sudden death.

Surviving are the husband, Frank S. Harding; two sisters, Mrs. Emil Mohr of Davenport, and Mrs. Henry Weise of R. R. No. 4, Davenport, and two brothers, John Rauch of Kremlin, Okla., and Gustav Rauch of Davenport.

Funeral Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home near Mt. Joy. Interment will be made in Pine Hill cemetery.
