MATHILDA KREITER
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Hill and Fredericks chapel for Mrs. Mathilda Kreiter, 81, of 1322 Elm street, Davenport, who died Tuesday in St. Luke's hospital following a brief illness. The Rev. Emerson Miller will officiate, and burial will be in Pine Hill cemetery.

The former Mathilda Koch was born April 21, 1873, near Mt. Joy, Ia. She attended Scott county schools and married Willam Kreiter Feb. 21, 1900, in Davenport. He died in 1946.

Surviving are four sons, Henry, Carl and Willard, all of Davenport, and Clarence, Eldridge; a brother, Walter Koch, Davenport, 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
