Dorothy Messer

Services for Dorothy M. Messer, 72, of 2315 W. 1st St., Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.

Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. today at Runge Mortuary.

Memorials may be made to the church, of which she was a member.

Mrs. Messer died Wednesday at Mercy Hospital.

She retired in 1976 as an assembler at Eagle Signal Company, Davenport, where she had been employed for 25 years.

Dorothy Larson married Bamford Messer in 1934 in Rock Island.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Joyce) Jones, Davenport; a son Terrill, Glen Head, N.Y.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, George Larson, Newport Richey, Fla., and Maurice Larson, Holiday, Fla.
