PAUL STUBBE IS TAKEN BY DEATH; HERE 27 YEARS-
Funeral Monday Afternoon at Davenport Home-
Paul Stubbe: resident of Scott county for 27 years, died Saturday morning at 1:30 at his home, 1006 West Fourteenth street.
He was born in Suder-Ditmarschen, Germany, Nov. 25, 1839, and came to Scott county in 1865, several years later marrying Miss Johanna Tiedje. The couple resided on a farm in Butler township until 27 years ago, when they came to Davenport.
One daughter, Mrs. Louisa Kruse. Four stepchildren, Mrs. Wm. Zabel and William. Henry and Fred Runge; six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, survive.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 Monday afternoon at the home with interment in Mt. Joy cemetery.
