Stubbe-

Mrs. Johanna Stubbe passed away at her home, 1006 West 14th street Thursday morning at 1:30 o'clock after a lingering illness. Mrs. Stubbe was born in Marne, Sudermarshen, Germany, November 29, 1832 and was married there to Christian Runge, the couple coming to Scott county and direct to Butler Towns in 1857. Mr. Runge passed away in 1869 and in 1873 she was united in marriage to Paul Stubbe who preceded her in death in January 1923.

The following children survive, Mrs. Lena Zabel. Mrs. Louise Kruse of Eldridge. William Runge of Minnesota. Fred Runge of Davenport and Henry Runge of Mt. Joy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home, 1006 West 14th street. Burial will be made in Mt. Joy.
