Reimers-

Mrs. Rebecca Margaretha Reimers died last night at the family home, 1921 West Fourteenth street after a lingering illness at the age of 82 years. The ailments of old age are said to have been the cause of death.

Deceased was born in Dittmarschen, Germany, Dec. 13, 1830, where she grew up. In the year 1865 she came to the United States with her husband, direct to Scott county, where they farmed for several years. They then removed to Tama county, and at the time came to Davenport and have made their residence here ever since.

She is survived by the husband, Claus Jacob Reimers, and the following children, A. H., and J. N. Reimers of Calumet, Ia., Henry Reimers of Gladbrook, Ia.; Mrs. Lizzie Kamp of Davenport; Mrs. Hans Petersen of Gaza, Ia.; and Mrs. John Rohwer of Beaman, Ia. Two sisters, Mrs. Paul Stubbe and Mrs. Louisa Miller of Davenport also survive.

The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the home with interment in Fairmount cemetery.
