STECKEL-

At 6 o'clock last evening, at her home, No. 2007 Harrison street, occurred the death of Mrs. Otto Steckel, wife of the well known contractor. Cancer of the stomach was the fatal disease to which she finally succumbed. Deceased was born in Prussia and came to this country when she was but eight years of age. She was married to the husband, who survives her, 22 years ago, her maiden name having been Augusta Meyers. Her death is mourned by the husband and six children - Albert, Theodore, Otto, Olga, George and Alma, and by three brothers and three sisters, as well as many friends.

The funeral will be held from the family residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment in the West Davenport cemetery.
