Linda Lou (Mrs. Allen)Duke Glover, 57, rural Donahue, Iowa, died Sunday morning, December 15, 2002 at her home.

Linda Lou Duke was born June 8, 1945 in Davenport, Iowa, to James Duke and Lois (Dosland) Duke. She was graduated from Calamus High School in 1963 and had worked at Iowa Mutual Insurance of DeWitt, Iowa for several years. She married Allen Glover on June 8, 1969 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, rural Calamus, Iowa. The couple lived at rural Donahue all of their married life, where they farmed and raised their family.

She thoroughly enjoyed antiquing, garage sales, baking, gardening, flowers, birds, horses, family history and was proud of her Norwegian Heritage.

Surviving are her husband, Allen; three sons, Shane Glover and his wife Amy, Parkview; Salem and Max Glover, Donahue; two daughters, Sena Hagedorn and her husband, Kevin, Gardner, Kansas; Cheyanne Glover, Albuquerque, New Mexico; a granddaughter, Maia Glover; a brother, William Duke, DeWitt; two sisters, Delores (Mrs. Sherwood) Lahann, Wheatland, Iowa and Mary Jane (Mrs. Harry) Slaymaker, Grand Mound, Iowa; her mother-in-law, Erma Glover, Donahue.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Schultz Funeral Home, Grand Mound, from 4 until 8 PM Wednesday, December 18, 2002. Service of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday, December 19, 2002 at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Curtis Girod officiating. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.

Pallbearers will be Marcus Slaymaker, Dave Lahann, Jim Lahann, Bill Dittmer, Marx Dittmer and Alex Dittmer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sherwood Lahann, Harry Slaymaker, and Bill Homrighausen.
