Death of Miss Julia Mahoney

The death of Miss Julia Mahoney, housekeeper for her brother, the Rev. Thomas Mahoney, pastor at St. Peter's Catholic church, Buffalo, occurred suddenly Wednesday at their home in Buffalo. Altho she had been in poor health the past year her death was unexpected.

Born at Trolee, County Kerry, Ireland, April 20, 1860, she came to the United States about 23 years ago and since that time has been housekeeper for her brother. She and her brother had resided in Buffalo the past eight years.

Besides her brother she leaves to mourn her loss, two sisters, Sister Mary Clarice, B. V. M. of Lyons, Iowa, and Mrs. Thomas J. McCormick of Harpers Ferry, Iowa, one brother, Richard, in Ireland; one niece, Miss Isabelle McCormick, and a nephew, Thomas M. McCormick, both of Harpers Ferry.

The funeral will be held on Friday from the parsonage to St. Peter's church at 9:30 a.m., thence to Lyons, by auto, where interment will be made.
