DAVENPORT — Landon Allen Houk, son of Benjamin and Jessica (Shafer) Houk, was born into Eternal Life on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Genesis Medical Center-East Rusholme Street, Davenport. A Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. today at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Buffalo, Iowa. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, with Landon’s father serving as his pallbearer. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the family. The Runge Mortuary is assisting the family with final arrangements.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandparents, Al and Trudi Shafer and Steve and Peggy Houk, great-grandparents, Connie Wickman, Debbie Shafer, and Bill and Beverly Brundies, aunts, Samantha Shafer and Wendy Storm, uncle, Zack Shafer, cousins Gabrielle, Christian, Hayden, and Owen, and special friend, Rachel Cuppy.
Landon was welcomed to Heaven by his big sister, Hannah Faith, and great-grandparents, Mike and Rita Metz, Ed Wickman, and Richard Shafer.
