Mrs. Margaret Borrell, a resident of Davenport for the last 50 years, died at 11:10 a.m. Sunday, at her home, 1724 LeClaire street. Altho ailing for the last ten years, death terminated an illness of a month's duration.

Mrs. Borrell was born in county Galway, Ireland, April 10, 1844, and was 84 years of age. Surviving are one son, John Mee, Davenport; a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Davis, Chicago; one granddaughter and three great grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Halligan funeral home and returned to the late home today. It will be taken to Sterling, Ill., at 6:25 a.m., Wednesday, where services will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic church. Burial will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.
