Arthur A. "Al" Hite, 70, of Davenport, died Wednesday, Feb 18, 2009, at Genesis Medical Center East Campus in Davenport following a sudden illness.
Mr. Hite was born Jan. 26, 1939, in Oskaloosa, the son of Arthur Hugh and Pauline Anita (Gable) Hite. He married Mary K. Meyer on Feb 17, 1999 in Jamaica.
Surviving are his wife; one sister, Pamela Schwieger and husband Carlyn of Dows; one nephew; his mother-in-law, Mary Meyer of Davenport; three aunts; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
