The Zabel Infant

Wayne Arlyss Zabel, 13-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arlyss G. Zabel, R. R. No. 3, Davenport, died suddenly Monday [6 Aug 1951] afternoon at the Davenport Pediatric clinic.

He was born in Davenport, July 25, 1951. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandfather, Henry Heuer, Davenport; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Grover Zabel, Davenport, and his paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Emma Kroeger, Chicago.

Private funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Runge chapel, with the Rev. Fred Rolf officiating. Mrs. Ruth Wunschel sang. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery.
