The Freund Funeral.

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Freund, wife of George K. Freund, were held today at 8:30 a.m. from the alte home, 609 East Central Park avenue, with services at 9 a.m. at St. Paul, the Apostle church. There was a Solemn Requiem High Mass with Rev. C. J. Donohoe, celebrant, Rev. Anthony Schoeningh, deacon, and Rev. Nicholas Meinhardt, sub-deacon. Rev. Donohoe pronounced the burial absolution, and preached the funeral sermon. Rev. Schoeningh officiated at the burial at St. Marguerite's cemetery, assisted by Rev. Donohoe, and Rev. Meinhardt.

At the offertory Robert MacGregor sang "O Salutarts," and at the conclusion of the mass, Mrs. Philip Freund sang an "Ave Maria." At the conclusion of the services, Mrs. John Mallow sang, "Lead Kindly Light."

Six nephews of the deceased acted as pallbearers. They were Peter, Harry, Lawrence, Fred, Erwin, and Eldon Freund.

The funeral was very largely attended and many floral offerings were in evidence.

Will Bequeaths Freund Property to the Husband

Property of the late Catherine M. Freund, who died April 3, is bequeathed to her husband, George K. Freund, who is named executor under the terms of the joint will filed in district court for probate. Ruymann & Ruymann are the probating attorneys.

The will provides that after Mr. Freund's death the estate shall be divided among the surviving children after a $200 cash legacy willed to St. Vincent's home and a cash legacy of $100 to each of the grandchildren have been paid.
