The death of Mrs. John C. Schebler occurred at 6:45 last evening at the family home, 1459 West Eighth street as the result of a stroke of paralysis, sustained Friday. She was 44 years of age, a native of Pennsylvania, and had resided in this city for 42 years. She was a woman of very noble character and greatly beloved. The surviving relatives are her husband, three children, Leo, Edwin and Mary, and one brother, Patrick Kennedy.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's church. Interment will be in Holy Family cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. John Schebler was held from St. Mary's church yesterday morning where a requiem mass was celebrated at 9 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. J. P. Ryan. There was a large attendance of the friends of the family at the obsequies and a lengthy cortege followed the remains to the Holy Family cemetery, where the interment occurred.
