George Schlapkohl, former Scott county resident, died at 7:45 p.m., Friday, at his home in Dayton, Tex., according to word received here by his sister, Mrs. Julius Lamp, 2202 Wilkes avenue.
Mr. Schlapkohl was born May 19, 1860 in Celona [sic] township, Scott county, where he resided until 1912 when he moved to Texas.
Surviving besides his widow are three daughters, one son, and five grandchildren: four sisters, Mrs. Fred Tagge of Canada; Mrs. Julius Lamp and Mrs. Ernest Moeller, both of Davenport; and Mrs. Henry Springmeier of Stockton; and two brothers, Charles of Minnesota, and Leonard of Arkansas.
