At the home of her niece, Mrs. Joseph Parry, on Sunday morning, at 2:30 occurred the death of Mrs. Rebecca Russell, age 91 years. Mrs. Russell was born in London, England in 1800, and in 1847, with her husband and children, came to United States, settling in Davenport, where she has resided but with few intermissions. Her husband died about 9 months ago, since which time her health has been failing rapidly. She was not confined to her bed at any time until the last two days of her life.

Mrs. Russell leaves four sons and one daughter - William and Josiah in the far west, Thomas in Iowa and Edward in Minneapolis, and Mrs. Burnham in California.

The funeral will take place this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence of Mr. Parry at Oakdale.
