LATHROP.

Tuesday, in Allen's Grove, occurred the death of Henry Lathrop, aged 71 years. Mr. Lathrop was born in Chenango county, New York, in 1808, and in 1824 he removed to Sandusky county, Ohio, where he was united in marriage with Miss Hannah Harvey. In 1838 he removed his family to St. Joseph Mo., and in 1844 they came to Scott county where they have lived ever since. Mr. Lathrop was the father of nine children and eighteen grand children. Of his nine children only four survive him.
