JULIA GRAHAM

Yesterday morning at the family residence, 810 Brady street at 3:30 o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. Julia Graham, wife of James R. Graham. Mrs. Graham had been ill for some time and her health has been almost hourly expected for the past week.

Mrs. Graham was born Jan. 6, 1825, in New Lisbon, Ohio, where she passed from childhood into womanhood. In 1854 she came to Davenport with her husband and has lived here ever since. She had a kind and lovable disposition which fascinated all with whom she came in contact. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother and a true friend. She was a devout member of Trinity church and was always ready and willing to assist in any charitable work. The sick and needy never appealed to her in vain. She will be greatly missed in the social circles in which she moved. Besides her husband, five children are left to mourn her - Watson, Fremont and James live in Joliet; Mrs. Anna Lord, in Springfield, Ill., and William T., in Kansas.

The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
