Kaschewski

Frederick Kaschewski, production manager of the Oshkosh Overall company of Oshkosh, Wis., died at the family home, 1602 East Tenth street, Wednesday at 6:40 p.m. He had been ill for only two days, but had been in poor health for the past year.
Mr. Kaschewski was born in East Prussia, Germany, April 30, 1859, and received his education there. He has lived in America for 36 years and in Davenport for 13 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Kashchewski [sic]; three daughters, Erna and Helen of New York City, and Doris at home; a son Carl A. of Notre Dame, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Augusta Braunert of Berlin, Germany.
The remains were taken to the Halligan funeral home and will be sent to Dubuque, Friday evening.
Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery in Dubuque.
