Lindsley

Word was received Monday night by G.C. Harkness, 1709 Bridge avenue, of the death of Mrs. Harkness’s sister, Mrs. C.W. Lindsley, at Phoenix, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Lindsley lived in Davenport for many years up to a year and a half ago, Mr. Lindsley being in the employ of Bradstreet. From Davenport they removed to Los Angeles and thence to Phoenix.

Surviving besides the husband are four sisters, Mrs. G.C. Harkness of Davenport, Mrs. J.L. Hariman of Rock Island, Mrs. W.A. Keas of Moline, and Mrs. Frank Reiple of Decatur, Ill.; two brothers, Edward Kuhner of Indianapolis and A.W. Kuhner of Dayton, O.; and a daughter and a son, Lillian and Cheater Lindsley, Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. Harkness are awaiting word as to whether burial will be made in Phoenix or Davenport.

The Lindsley Funeral

The body of Mrs. C.W. Lindsley of Phoenix, Ariz., will arrive at Davenport at 4:20 Saturday morning and be taken to the Horrigan & Son parlors until arrangements for the funeral have been completed. Announcement will be made later.

The Lindsley Funeral

The funeral of Mrs. C.W. Lindsley of Phoenix, Ariz., will be held from the Horrigan & Son parlors on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with services at St. Paul’s English Lutheran Church on Fourteenth and Main streets, at 2:30. Rev. J.A. Miller will officiate at the home and church services and at the grave in Fairmount cemetery.

The Lindsley Funeral

The funeral of Mrs. C.W. Lindsley was held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 from the Horrigan & Son parlors, with services at St. Paul’s English Lutheran church at 3 o’clock, Rev. J.A. Miller also conducted the services in Fairmount cemetery. At the church Mrs. Carl Anderson sang two hymns.

Pallbearers were J.H. Rouse, W.W. Fidlar, H.R. Bartlett, H.A. Mohn, F.A. Johnson and B.N. Swenson.
