Dennis Hahn Memorial

DAVENPORT -- Dennis A. Hahn, Davenport, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 18, 2002, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Runge Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today at the mortuary.

He was born April 5, 1935, in Dixon, Iowa, the son of Oscar and Blondena (Hesse) Hahn. On Sept. 30, 1967, he married Fern Blume in Wyoming, Iowa. Mr. Hahn had been employed as a superintendent of Credit Island Park and Golf Course. He had been an employee of the City of Davenport since 1965. He was a member of Davenport Moose Lodge and the Iowa Golf Course Superintendent's Association. He enjoyed woodworking and his dog, Murphy, and was his family's Mr. Fix-it.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or the American Heart Association. Survivors include his wife, Fern; children and spouses, Jo and Steve Lundquist, Moline, Victor Hahn and Judy Stein, Blue Grass, Iowa, Rick Hahn, San Diego, Mark and Aimee Hahn, Blue Grass, Jody Hahn and Joline Melton, Welton, Iowa, and Karen and Steve French, Davenport; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Della Johnson, Reynolds, Ill.; and brother, Stanley Hahn, Baltimore. Denny will be missed greatly by his wife, family and friends.
