Dear Ms. Lanigan,

According to an article published in the Quad-City Times on February 10, 2003, the memorial located past the golf course (to the right of the bird feeders) was placed to honor the death of Dennis Hahn, a long-time city employee who died on November 18, 2002, in a work-related accident on Credit Island. Mr. Hahn was not, however, buried on the island.

None of our resources include information on any grave sites on Credit Island, nor do they confirm that any member sof the Offerman family were buried there.
