(with photo)Services for George A. Hoffmann, 86, of 1207 W. Rusholme St., Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Runge Chapel. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to service time Thursday.
Memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, Davenport, of which he was a member.
Mr. Hoffmann died Monday at Osteopathic Hospital after a brief illness.
He was employed by the former Davenport Locomotive Works and later by Frank Foundry.
He was a member of Northwest Davenport Turners, Northwest Davenport Turner Bears, and was a former member of the Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter, Georgene Peck, and a son, Robert, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., five grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Hilda Mielke, and a niece, Shirley Bald, both of Davenport.
