The Davenport Democrat and Leader; Wednesday Evening; January 14, 1925:

Kauffman

Thomas Reid, two-year-old son of Mr. & Mrs. A. B. Kauffman, 1608 Davenport avenue, passed away at the home of his parents this morning at 7:30 o’clock. His death terminated an illness of four days’ duration.

The deceased was born Jan. 1, 1923, in Davenport. Besides the parents, he is survived by one sister, Charlotte, his maternal grandfather, B. H. Leefe of Davenport, and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. A. D. Kauffman of Chicago.

The funeral will be held from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Friends will be welcome at the home until noon Friday, but the services will be strictly private. Dr. Frank Court will officiate at the home and at the interment in Fairmount cemetery.

Funeral services were held for Thomas Reid Kauffman Friday afternoon from the family home, 1608 Davenport avenue. D. Frank Court officiated at the home and at the grave in Fairmount cemetery.

The pallbearers were Mildred Vogdt, Wilma Priess, Rose Leese and Ernestine Leese.
