The Davenport Democrat and Leader; Wednesday Evening; January 14, 1925:

Nickerson

Isaac Nickerson passed away at a local hospital Tuesday evening after an illness of five weeks.
The deceased was born April 29, 1885 at Fairfield, Ia. In 1904 he married Miss Nellie Brownin, who survives him besides eight children. They are Mrs. Gladys Putman, Robert, Mary, Isaac Jr., Sarah, Mary and Leroy, all of Davenport, and Almeda and Mae both of Plattville, Wis.

The body was taken to the M. V. Boies chapel. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Nickerson Funeral

The funeral of Isaac Nickerson will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock from the M. V. Boise Co. chapel. Rev. C. K. Gillum will officiate at the chapel and at the interment in Oakdale cemetery.

Nickerson Funeral

Funeral services for Isaac Nickerson were held Friday afternoon from the M. V. Boise chapel with Rev. C. K. Gillum officiating. Mrs. Leona Bliven and Mrs. Edith Stoltenberg sang “Safe In the Arms of Jesus” and “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere.”

Pallbearers were Alvin Metzger, Herbert Washburn, Elmer Metzger, Lawrence Schnoor, Otto McCulley and Fred Custer.
