Albert Stas, 1318 West Third street, died Friday evening at six o’clock at the Pine Knoll Sanitarium, after a lingering illness.

The decedent was born in Belgium on July 13, 1887, and had been a resident of Davenport for about a year. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Cilina Stas, and a son, Alphons Stas, all of Davenport.

The body was taken to the Fred N. Ruhl funeral home from where the funeral will be held Monday morning at 8:30 o’clock. Interment will take place in Holy Family cemetery.
