OBITUARY

STEPHENS, Alice Maud. The funeral will be held at the home, 1021 East Fourteenth street, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Alice Maud Constantine was born in Rochester, N.Y., May 31, 1850, and was in her fifty-fifth year at the time of her death. She was married to Charles H. Stephens and with her husband came to Davenport in 1869, who has been one of the trusted engineers of the Rock Island ever since coming to to this city. Mr. Stephens was a member of St. John's M.E. church of this city.

The survivors are the husband, two sons, Charles S. Stephens, who was for several years cashier of the Rock Island freight office here, but now living in Honolulu and William H. Stephens of this city, and one daughter, Miss Fannie Stephens, who lives at home. Three brothers also survive, S.A. Constantine, postmaster of Aurora, Ill.; S.M. Constantine, state's attorney at Three Rivers, Mich., and B.F. Constantine of the United States Treasury at Washington.
