HANGS HIMSELF IN STORE

Carl Frickel, a Merchant
of Davenport, Iowa,
Commits Suicide

Davenport, Iowa, Jan. 6. – Carl Frickel, a prominent business man here for twenty years, went to his store as usual this morning and shortly afterwards committed suicide by hanging himself in an anteroom. Life was extinct when the body was found. His brother was sent to an asylum a few months ago and insanity in the family is supposed to be the cause.
